Indra (or Komang) has qualitative research experiences since 2014 with various research institutions, both under private companies and universities. His main research issues and themes are the economics and social development of vulnerable groups, the development of local communities such as traditional mining groups, fishing communities to craftsmen groups. From 2016 to 2019, he was heavily involved in research in Eastern Indonesia, such as NTT, Maluku & Papua. Since the end of 2020, he has been a freelance consultant as a Strategic Planner at VML Y&R, a company engaged in the creative media and consulting agency.
